Description
A few great blue herons appear to be having their morning meeting and planning the day ahead as they sit in the perfect light of the beginning of another island day. Just across from the Covehead Lighthouse on Prince Edward Island's north shore, the tiny island in the middle of a pond is the perfect spot to solve world problems and soak up some sun amidst the picturesque wildflowers. My husband and I happened to be driving by after catching a gorgeous sunset a little earlier and saw this pleasing arrangement, almost as if these beautiful birds were strategically posed and waiting for us to take their picture!
