While on a tour of Switzerland, we traveled by train through some of the most amazing scenery in the world. Words are not adequate to describe the stunning beauty of the Swiss Alps! Our route started in Zermatt, famous for its views of the iconic Matterhorn, and ended in Andermatt, a small alpine village that is known for it's skiing in the winter months. This image was taken from the main street of Andermatt. The village was charming with flower boxes and flags proudly flying, providing wonderful pops of color everywhere you turned. This image captures well the ambiance of a Swiss alpine village and shows so well why I totally fell in love with Switzerland!
