I opted out of the distillery tour and tasting to stay outdoors and take some pictures on this gorgeous summer afternoon in the Scottish highlands. The sky was nice, then stormy and dramatic, and finally perfect as it is in this image. I enjoyed wandering around to see what I could find through the lens. This shot was appealing to me because of the wonderful black and white contrasts against the beautiful July sky. I also loved the angles of the roof lines contrasted with the round barrels.
