The Princetown United Church anchors the main crossroads of the tiny town of Malpeque, Prince Edward Island and stands as a beacon to this charming fishing community. This black and white image was taken on a cloudy late afternoon in early September. The church is set against a dramatically vivid sky and naturally framed by trees on both sides. Built in the Gothic Revival style in 1869, the beautiful church has a rich history and deep roots that reach back to the first formation of the original Presbyterian congregation, which was organized by a missionary pastor in 1790.
