Description
Mid summer in Cades Cove is an explosion of color as the fields and meadows come alive with an abundance of various wildflowers that almost seem to pop up overnight. The delicate wildflowers of spring, found in the woodlands and stream banks, are now long gone and are replaced by these sturdy, vibrant stems that color the vast areas of the Cove with a splash of brilliant hues. I love to walk among them and try not to think about the snakes that could be lurking among these beauties!
