Description
Visiting America's oldest and favorite national park in the winter season can be daunting, but I recently discovered that it is so worth braving sub zero temperatures, raging winds, and deep snow pack. I had wanted to take this trip for as long as I can remember, but just wasn't sure how I would endure the extreme weather conditions. Amazingly enough, it can be done comfortably with many layers, and you actually do acclimate much faster than you think. The wildlife in the park are survivors that have it very hard during the winter season. It was a pleasure to observe Mother Nature at her best!
