Description
My husband and I visited London the week between Christmas and New Year's and found it to be a wonderful experience. It took us a few days to get used to the city life, especially navigating the public transportation systems. As a photographer who loves nature and landscapes, I was so surprised to discover how many wonderful photo opportunities I had in the city during our week long visit. The tube stations provided endless possibilities, and I was a little self conscious as London commuters looked on in wonder as I took picture after picture of things that I'm sure they considered very mundane and ordinary! This image was taken at Victoria Station, one of the four main stations of London on a very cold morning in January.

Very good picture, Marcy. It’s nice and rare to see Victoria Station not overcrowded!

Thanks, Catherine. It was between Christmas and New Year's, so I think a lot of the usual commuters were probably on holiday.
