Description
The Tipton Place is one of several historic structures preserved in the settlement of Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. It includes the main house, a large cantilever barn, and several other outbuildings, including this little woodshed just across the creek from the house at the edge of the woods. This image was taken on an early fall day when things were still mostly green, but I enjoyed the precocious pop of color letting us know that Autumn was really on its way.
