Description
On a hot summer day in east Tennessee, Bald River Falls is a great place to cool off. Located near the small town of Tellico Plains in the Cherokee National Forest, the falls are about 10 degrees cooler due to the higher elevation, but they also provide a good swimming hole below the torrent and emit a lot of mist that feels really good in the middle of summer. We chose to visit on the 4th of July last year when this image was taken.
