Description

In late summer when the Cades Cove cherry trees are laden with ripe fruit, you generally have to look up to spot a bear. This guy was so intent on getting to those cherries that I'm not sure he ever noticed me a distance away getting my pictures. I love how he's so stretched out in this picture with his front paw reaching for the prize and his tongue sticking out in anticipation!
