Description
On a sleepy and foggy November morning, I took my camera outside and just walked around my yard, enjoying the cozy fog that gave common things a new, mysterious aura. These are the kind of mornings that I love as Fall fades into winter and you're just never sure what you're going to wake up to each morning. So many memories in this space...the tool shed that my husband worked hard to construct in a matching style to our home, a picket fence that we salvaged from a local Methodist church that no longer had any use for it, the one of a kind tire swing that we decided to (on a crazy whim) paint orange, our "bird condo" handed down by my sister who was tired of having it in her yard, and our trees, many of which we grew from seeds that we picked up on various trips. Sentimental and nostalgic, perhaps, but our roots go down deep here in Tennessee. Just looking outside usually brings a smile to my face.
