I am one of those people who love a cozy, foggy morning! When I first started out as a photographer, I wouldn't even get out on these kinds of days because I just didn't realize that fog pictures have their own special appeal. Things have changed in that regard, I now greet a foggy morning with excitement and am eager to get outside and roam around to see what kinds of things I can capture with my camera. This was taken at Concord Park about three miles from my home in Knoxville, Tennessee on a wonderful November morning. The bench actually faces a lake, and I enjoyed seeing the shorebirds through the fog engaged in their morning activites becoming a little more visible moment by moment as the heavy fog began to lift.
