On a recent trip to Montana, my husband and I were driving around the countryside near Montana and came upon this lovely barn. The skies were darkening in the distance, but the barn, in its lovely setting of bright green fields set off by yellow wildflowers, was still nicely lit by the early afternoon sun of a summer day. We knew our time was limited as the clouds were swiftly rolling in, so we hurriedly stopped to take a few shots in an effort to take full advantage of the moment. I loved the way this image turned out, and the big bonus is that every time I see it, I'm reminded of a perfect summer day in the beautiful state of Montana!
