I hadn't been in Montana very long when I decided that this was my kind of place! I loved the rolling hills and gorgeous mountains, but the legendary skies were, without question, the biggest attraction for a photographer. It was such an interesting and exciting experience to see how rapidly the skies could change within an afternoon, and this factor alone made the photography in this location SO MUCH FUN. There were many wonderful things to capture, but I kept going back again and again to the rural farmlands and ranches. These types of images speak of the heart of America, of hard working people living off the land and enjoying nature.
