Description
As a nature and wildlife photographer, I am always thrilled to see birds and animals when I'm out in nature on a photo shoot. I wasn't expecting to see this guy in my neighborhood just a half mile from my home in Knoxville, Tennessee. Don't they keep the longhorns in Texas? Apparently some of my neighbors have decided to raise these beautiful, huge animals, so I couldn't resist taking advantage of some great light on a recent evening and get a few shots. While standing outside the fence and taking this fella's picture, he began heading my way and looked like he meant business. I took a few shots, but quickly moved a distance away because I was intimated by the size of this guy. A few seconds later, a man across the street yelled warning me to not let him "charge me." He then pointed out a fence post that had been knocked over the week before when one of the bulls had crashed out of the pasture. That was enough for me...I was on my way home!

Thank you, Constance! Glad to cross paths with you once again. I haven't had time to contribute to the groups lately. :(
