It's no secret that the royal family of the United Kingdom calls Windsor Castle home. While in London recently, my husband and I decided to take the train to Windsor and spend the day checking out the charming little city and the castle of the same name. It was about an hour's train ride from London through pleasant countryside. When we arrived at the station in Windsor, the castle was readily visible before we even got off the train. The station itself was a fun place with displays, cafes, shops, and a lot of activity. This image is of the front of the station as we were returning to London later in the day. I liked the symmetry of the image and the central clock just above the arch that leads to the train platform.
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
