My husband and I were excited about our first trip to Sedona, Arizona. We had heard a lot of positives about this charming community in the high desert of northern Arizona, and sometimes that can lend itself to disappointment due to unrealistically high expectations. I'm happy to report that there was no disappointment at all. Perhaps the attraction was so strong because the landscape, ambiance, vibe, vegetation, architectural styles...literally EVERYTHING was so drastically different than what we are used to around our home in east Tennessee! Unfortunately we didn't allow sufficient time to take it all in, so we're already planning to return as soon as we can.
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
