Troyes Cathedral is the centerpiece of the charming medieval city of Troyes, France located just 2 hours from Paris. This beautiful painting of "The Last Supper" hangs in a special alcove above a simple table with two candles. The size of the piece fits perfectly between the ancient moldings as if it was made just for this spot. Although the painting, which is a copy of an original 16th century work, is showing a lot of age, the colors and depiction of this important event in the life of Christ look amazingly vivid.
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
