Artist's Description
The dawn of a perfect morning finds us at Grand Tetons National Park where we decided to begin our time there at Jenny Lake. Amazingly there weren't very many people there and we basically had this spectacular location all to ourselves for quite a while. My husband and I were actually staying in Bozeman, Montana and visiting Yellowstone, but spontaneously decided we'd make the trek down to the Tetons and see all we could pack in to that one day. It was worth it, although from the time we left in the morning until we returned was a tiresome 18 hours. The scenery was breathtaking, and we are certain to return to the Tetons on another trip when we can really take our time and see this park without having to rush. This image, taken on the shore of Jenny Lake, was one of the first shots I took that morning and ended up being a personal favorite of the trip!

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures!
