Description
Although there are birds that have better personalities, how can you not love these gorgeous blue birds that are frequently seen at backyard feeders? Raucous, noisy, bossy...adjectives that all fit when I think about a blue jay. Captured this handsome specimen as he was busily going after the sunflowers that had gone to seed on a sunshiny September morning on Prince Edward Island. The jay was competing with a goldfinch for territory, but he seemed to have the upper hand!
