Artist's Description
Not sure why, but I'm always attracted to doors and windows and love to photograph both when I travel. This elegant doorway in old city Munich was an instant favorite of my trip to Germany. With its intricate detail, ornate styling, and unique architectural elements, I feel sure this photo would make a great addition to any home decor. It would be especially lovely in an entry hall or foyer or on any wall where a more narrow, vertical image would be appropriate. My original photograph has been digitally enhanced to add texture and achieve a more painterly presentation.

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
