Snow in East Tennessee is not a common occurrence, but a couple of times per winter, a light snow is possible, Snow in October....NEVER! On October 29, 2017, the unusual happened giving the local residents a surprise and a thrill. Cades Cove was especially nice with the Fall colors showing through the snow.

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures!
