Artist's Description
Once considered in danger of extinction, the Highland cattle are roaring back and have become very popular in the United States. The breed, originally from Scotland, are easily recognizable with their characteristic long, shaggy hair. My husband and I recently visited Elm Hollow Farm in rural east Tennessee and loved getting to know these adorable "coos" up close. Brand new calves were a real bonus and so irresistible to photograph as they romped around in the field. We're hoping to return in the fall for another photoshoot when the fall colors are at their best!

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures!
