Artist's Description
On a trip to Montana, my husband and I were fortunate to take a trip to the top of Pryor Mountain to observe a herd of wild mustangs for the day. The journey to the top was a rough one...straight up on a rock-strewn, steep, almost impassable road. It took us 2 1/2 hours to travel 12 miles and I had a lot of doubts as to whether or not this experience could possibly be worth the arduous, punishing ride. Once on top, however, it didn't take long for me to realize that we had discovered a truly magical place, a verdant meadow filled with amazing wildflowers and some of the most beautiful animals I have ever seen. It was great, and I'm now hoping to get to do this again some day!

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
