A crisp, cold morning in Grand Teton National Park finds my husband and I tromping through the snow very determined to get some morning light landscapes of this beautiful mountain range. When we drove by this location, it was one of our best vantage points so we stopped and set up for our shots. The enormity of the landscape called for mostly panoramas in order to be able to get the mountains in their entirety. I loved the simplicity of the distant landscape and feel that this 18 shot panorama showcases the details of the landscape in the best manner. The soft blues of a cold winter morning's snow covered landscape transport me back to this spot every time I look at this photo!
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
