Description

French River is certainly one of the most picturesque fishing villages along the north shore of Prince Edward Island. Commercial fishing, tourism, and farming are the three primary industries of Canada's smallest province, so along much of the coastal areas, fishing boats and lobster traps are frequently spotted. The brightly colored fishing shacks add a lot of charm and interest to these harbors, and there's none better than right here in French River. I've taken pictures of this spot from every angle through the years, but this vantage point is hard to beat for sunrise and great morning light.
