Artist's Description
A thrill for me came when visiting South Africa recently, and we went to Boulders Beach, home to a large colony of African penguins. These entertaining creatures make this beach their year round home and have become quite a tourist attraction for the area. I find these birds endearing, and it was a great pleasure to spend about 45 minutes with them on a beautiful fall afternoon. Seeing these two waddle walking away from one another in opposite directions, reminded me of duelers of olden times.
