The Chapman's Peak Drive, along the southern coast of South Africa just outside of Cape Town, is one of the most scenic drives in the world. My husband and I were happy that we had a local resident to drive the car, so that we could just take it all in and enjoy the amazing views. The high, rocky cliffs rising above the deep blue waters of the ocean below are indeed stunning in their contrasts. This place has it all...wonderful textures, colors, land, and water...nature at her best! If you look carefully on the upper left of the image, you'll see the road and a car, giving a great perspective to the size and altitude in this photo.
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
