Artist's Description
Often mistaken for the setting of the Harry Potter movies because of it's familiar Gothic architecture, the University of Glasgow dates back to 1451 and is the fourth oldest university in the English speaking world. It is considered to be one of Scotland's four ancient institutions of higher learning. It was great to just be on the campus of this wonderful school, and I especially loved the architecture and historical significance. Darkening skies lend a foreboding look to this image that I took in the inner courtyard of one of the administration buildings. I liked its turreted roof lines, towers, and arched doorways and windows.

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures!
