A little log cabin sits neglected and alone in a grassy field surrounded by delicate wildflowers just outside of Bozeman, Montana. Falling down now, but it's still easy to see that once upon a time it was a pleasant pioneer home for someone with a front door and several large windows. Walking around the structure, one sees that there used to be a decked porch over the door, but it now lies on the ground and appears to have a population of squirrels living underneath. Clusters of lupines and other wildflowers surround the quaint cabin giving us another clue that it was once a nice place to reside. Can't help but entertain the common thought that if these walls could talk, they'd most certainly have a story to tell...

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
