Description
Fully realizing that art is such a subjective concept, there may not be too many like me that enjoy the artistic aspect of this amazing organ in Giles Cathedral of Edinburgh, Scotland. I had been taking photos of the altar area in the front of the cathedral for some time, and as I turned around to go out, I looked up and saw the organ for the first time. The way the light caught the colors at that particular time of the afternoon was mesmerizing! It's a little unusual to see such vivid colors in a cathedral, but I found that both Ireland and Scotland seem to feature much more color in their sacred spaces than other countries in Europe. I actually love everything about this...the lines, shapes, geometric angles, arches, textures, and, of course, the colors. I feel that this image would make a lovely addition to any area of home or office as a decor piece.
