I am one of those people that loves a good foggy morning. When I first started out as a photographer, I didn't realize that fog is a photographer's friend, not foe, and I have missed many opportunities because I stayed home and waited for the fog to lift before launching out to take pictures. On this wonderful lazy morning in November, I was at Concord Park early and enjoyed the peaceful solitude of a typical Tennessee fall morning. I thought of the verse from I Corinthians as I stood looking out over the lake and couldn't see clearly in the distance. We don't know what lies ahead, but we can take comfort that God leads us and one day we will see and understand so much more clearly than we do today!
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
