Artist's Description
One of the many highlights on a recent tour of Spain was a visit to Alhambra, a palace and fortress located in Granada in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. With its Moorish architecture featuring repeating arches and intricate detail, the buildings are something to see, but I especially enjoyed the expansive gardens with the numerous fountains and carefully manicured shrubs and abundant flower beds. May was a perfect month to visit since flowers were all in the height of bloom.
