Description
One of the showpieces of Florence, Italy, the Cathedral Saint Mary of the Flower, is right in the center of the city. Inside and out, this architectural masterpiece has elements of Gothic, Renaissance, Italian Gothic, and Gothic Revival styles, Both the exterior and interior are beautiful and worthy of the necessary time to fully appreciate the exquisite detail and history of the cathedral. Photographing this beauty was a challenge, but I was pleased with the result. I used a wide angle lens and took a series of shots that were finally stitched together in post processing. The random bicyclist in the foreground makes the shot for me!
