Early one morning just after sunrise, the fields were covered with heavy dew and the wildlife of Cades Cove was out and about foraging through the meadows for breakfast. I happened upon a group of young bucks, all in close proximity, enjoying a bit of grazing in the wet, high grasses. It reminded me of a group of kids meeting up in the schoolyard before class begins and catching up after the week-end. After taking this picture and later posting on facebook, the first comment by a friend was "Does This Make My Butt Look Big?" After that, every time I looked at the image, that was the only thing that would come to mind...thus, the title!

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
