Fog is not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it! There's something about beginning the day a little more slowly and enjoying the lingering darkness that I enjoy. I guess that's a real positive for me, since the East Tennessee area where I live experiences a lot of foggy mornings, especially during the fall and winter months. When I first looked at this photograph, I knew that I wanted to pair it with I Corinthians 13:12 that describes our inability to see spiritual matters clearly, until a day in the future when God will reveal the mysteries of His love and care for us and our vision will become much clearer and our understanding complete.
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
