Artist's Description
My husband and I discovered Lily Lake quite by accident. We thought we had well covered Rocky Mountain National Park, and it was the evening of our last night there. Wondering what was further down the road where we were staying, we decided to go on past our condo one evening on the way back to home base, and this beautiful little mountain lake was there, just waiting to be discovered! Unfortunately, it was quite late by that time, so we made plans to return the next morning. I do like the mood of this image, however, because I fell it captures the frigid, cold blue of the solidly frozen lake and the waning light behind the mountains.

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures!
