Description

On a bright late summer afternoon I happened to catch the beach at Rustico, Prince Edward Island fairly free of people and enjoyed taking a few photos when the opportunity presented itself. This curving stream of water has been carved into the beach through years of winds and waves and erosion. I loved the beauty of the natural curves punctuated by the gorgeous colors as the light hit the different depths of the waters. In composing this image, I much preferred a vertical orientation to set off the leading line of the little stream.
