My husband and I took a winter trip to Colorado in hopes of having the opportunity to capture some snowy landscapes because we don't get hardly any snow in east Tennessee. I was extremely disappointed when we arrived because there was just a little bit of old, patchy snow, not at all what I had envisioned. I made up my mind to make the most of the situation, though, vowing mentally that next year we'd have to head to the Canadian Rockies to achieve my goal. Finally, on our seventh day as we were moving to a different location, we encountered a blizzard while traveling. Although my husband was not real happy about driving in the treacherous conditions, I was thrilled as I took shot after shot out the window of the car! As it turned out, these were some of my best snow scenes!
