The view of Manhattan from across the East River in the borough of Brooklyn was a favorite for me on a recent visit to New York city. The spring afternoon provided a wonderful dramatic sky as we stood near the river with the famous Brooklyn Bridge to our right and captured this image. When I processed this photograph, I loved the soft color option with its tonal blues and grays because it is neutral enough to coordinate with any color scheme. If you're looking for an urban image to place above a fireplace or sofa, this one is a great option!
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
