Description
There's nothing about Ireland that I don't enjoy! Having been fortunate enough to visit the land known as the Emerald Isle only twice, I'm certainly no expert, but there's just something there that pulls me back and makes me sad to leave when it's time to return home. Sunny days are never guaranteed, but particularly on those relatively rare bright days of mid summer, the vivid colors of the Irish countryside are stunning. As we were nearing Giant's Causeway on the northeastern coast of the island, we passed this simple pond that caught my eye because the blues and greens were so intense. With colors like this, it doesn't take a complicated composition to make a beautiful image. My original photography has been digitally stylized for a more artistic presentation.
