Description
It's really hard to find a better place to experience a Prince Edward Island sunset that is any better than the beach at West Point Lighthouse. With the lighthouse facing directly west, the golden light shines right on the tower for a long time while the sun sinks lower in the sky. As a special bonus, every time I've been there the clouds have also cooperated providing a very memorable sky. It's a good place to linger for a while...

This is beautiful Marcy. My wife and I visited PEI for just a couple days last year and bad weather prevented me from getting some shots like this. I do have a couple on my page I managed to do. We had one decent day. I love your work.
Marcy Wielfaert replied:
Oh, George, I just hate that you had bad weather during your short visit to the island! It's such a wonderful spot for photography. My husband and I fell in love with PEI when we were there for our 25th anniversary, and we've gone back every year since. This year we celebrate 45! It's become like our 2nd home. Thank you for your kind remark about my work!
