Description
While my husband and I were driving through the beautiful hills of the Tuscan region of Italy on a fine, early spring day, I saw this church in the perfect light from the road above. We were somewhere between the medieval hill town of Montepulciano and the Abbey of Saint Antimo, which is in a rather remote area of the countryside. Unfortunately, the roads are so narrow and winding in this area, that it was almost impossible to try to locate the church and confirm an identification as we were headed in the opposite direction. I can almost guarantee that it is Roman Catholic, but other than that I have to say it's a mystery church that I'll most likely never be able to properly identify.
