Description
One day while in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, I spontaneously turned down a one lane gravel road thinking that I would do a little exploring. A pleasant surprise at the end of the road was a small pond, resplendent in beautiful summer colors with hues of greens, blues, and yellows blending together ever so nicely. It was a quiet, serene spot in this tourist town, home to the fictional heroine, Anne of Green Gables. It was just the sort of spot that Anne would have named and enjoyed with her best friend Diana. In the true spirit of the famous Lucy Maud Montgomery novel, I officially named this place as Clark's Lane Pond and will most likely return there again and again when life calls for a serene moment.
