Description
It was certainly one of the most memorable experiences on a recent trip to Africa as my husband and I watched from our safari boat as a large group of elephants crossed the crocodile filled Chobe River in Botswana. We had already seen several large crocs swimming in the waters as our guide informed us that a group of crocodiles can take down a smaller elephant while in the water. The river was wide and it took several minutes for them to get across as we collectively held our breath hoping that all would make it safely. On the other side of the river was a huge mud hole that the elephants wallowed in as the sun was setting in the western sky. One by one, they headed to the mud to cheers from the crowd of onlookers on the boats. This was definitely a highlight of our travels in Africa!

I've been at that very spot on 2 visits to Botswana and it was a highlight of both trips. Wildlife everywhere! Love your presentation. l/f

What a thrilling site! Your technique feels like authentic African paintings I have seen.
