While in Spain, it didn't take long to realize that the bull is a revered national symbol. Bull fighting in an integral part of the culture and history of Spain, and although I knew this before going, I was surprised that it is still such a big thing. We visited Ronda and the Plaza de Toros de Ronda, the largest bullring in the country, and during the tour learned a bit about this national past time, which has certainly become controversial recently. Outside of the arena, I took this image of a huge iron bull and when I converted it to a black and white version, I liked it better than the original color one.
