Description
The trip of a lifetime for me was a recent adventure to Africa. As a life long animal and wildlife lover, I was in heaven while on the various game drives and safaris, and this particular moment stands out as one of the best. It was our first venture into the African bush, expectations were high, heavy fog was limiting our visibility, and I was afraid that we might not see much due to the foggy conditions. All of a sudden, emerging from the intense fog in front of our vehicle, an elephant mama was looking right at me! Her little one was next to her, and daddy was bringing up the rear. At that moment, I knew it was going to be a great day! I love this shot in the original color version, but when I checked it out in black and white, details popped out that were not even noticed in the other image. Both images have strong appeal.
