Artist's Description
It was an absolutely perfect late summer evening at Carlton Cove as my husband and I looked out over the Northumberland Strait, soaking in a gorgeous Prince Edward Island sunset. The reflection of the sun in the sand was just another element that made this particular sunset unlike many others that I have witnessed on the island. I love the layers in this image and the added textures with the tide being out exposing the sheen along the shoreline.

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures!
