I love to wander along a foreign street taking in the hustle and bustle of the crowds and enjoying the shops, cafes, and street entertainers. The Royal Mile, just outside of Edinburgh castle in Scotland, is one of the places that still stands out in my memory for an exceptional stroll on a lovely July day. This man and his dog were drawing quite a crowd as they worked together for donations for their efforts. Although the guitar and harmonica music was certainly above average and enjoyable, by far the biggest attraction was the dog making his way through the gathering crowd with hat in mouth collecting coins. He was totally irresistible as he looked up at each person with those sad eyes and offered the hat!
