Overlooking scenic Parksville Lake and Benton, Tennessee this old stone gazebo lends a nice touch to a magnificent view from the top of Chilhowee Mountain in the Cherokee National Forest. From this vantage point, the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, and Georgia are visible on a clear day, and even on the hot, hazy days of summer, it is well worth the drive to stand here in the gazebo and experience the coolness of a mountain breeze wafting through the surrounding trees and enjoy the best of what nature has to offer.

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator.
